And the notes look reliable; the site even boasts a phony emergency room visit note for sick children.
"It could be hard for me to know this is a faux," David Derouen said in disbelief as he examined one of many notes. "It is honestly impossible."
And the netsite couldn't be any simpler to use. Prospects present a credit or debit card and within minutes they have entry to over 30 totally different medical excuses.
All you have to do is type in your name in the blank house provided and fill out another information including address and doctors name, slap on a messy signature for aesthetics and you have yourself an expert-wanting get-out-of-work excuse.
The site even contains a no-cost call-back verification characteristic that allows customers to set up a call-back number and automatic voice messaging system.
You can upload a pre-made MP3 file that may sound like an authentic hospital, clinic, or perhaps a doctor's answering machine.
But do the duplicate notes really work?
ABC News 4's Jon Bruce hit the streets armed with a one real note from a physician at the Medical University of South Carolina and 4 fakes to seek out out if everyday people could spot the difference.
"I think it's this one," said Alexander Lacon, a School of Charleston senior, pointing to one of the notes. "It has the stamp and a verification code."
Lacon like lots of the folks interviewed for this story chose the imposter note.
"That is crazy," Lacon said. "The one I believed was the faux one was the real one."
Timothy Hesano, who works on boats for a living and admitted he had called out sick earlier than when he wasn't ailing, fell for the same phony note.
"It seemed fairly skilled with all these completely different doctors up here. That looks as if quite prolonged process to go through for a faux," he said.
The site prominently features a disclaimer which state these notes are sold as a novelty product and aren't meant for illegal use.
So are these sham notes legal to be sold online? ABC News four asked native attorney David Aylor present his opinion.
"They state clearly that this is fictitious docs and fictitious names, fictitious hospitals," Aylor said. "While you take a look at the promotion of it; what they're selling is the authenticity of the looking in that it could possibly be used as a type of trickery of an employer getting out of work and getting paid for it."
